Rod Run to the End of the World

Long Beach Peninsula Rod Run

Pacific Highway Parade of Cars

The Long Beach Peninsula is gearing up for one of the biggest events of the year–Rod Run! Car enthusiasts may want to arrive tomorrow for the Slow Drag at the Port, where Hot Rods will compete in a coasting competition at the Port of Ilwaco. Friday and Saturday will bring thousands of classic cars to the Peninsula for the annual Rod Run to the End of the World. The event itself will be held in Ocean Park, but the cars will be out and about, up and down the Peninsula.

The Klipsan Beach Life Saving Station, located at Ocean Park’s Klipsan Beach approach, is the perfect spot to enjoy the Rod Run. We’re right on the highway were guests can sit and view the unofficial parade of classic cars. For guests who come in their own classic cars, we have a fenced area where the cars can be secured. Two clean fully-furnished units are available for the weekend–one sleeps six and the other sleeps four. Email us for more information or call 360-665-3525.

Labor Day Weekend

After a day of rain yesterday, we’re blessed by a new wave of sunshine here on the Long Beach Peninsula, getting us in the mood for a great Rod RunLabor Day weekend. We’re sad to see the summer end, having enjoyed the large families who gave new life to this historic place.

We are currently booked for this weekend, but have space available during the Rod Run to the End of the World event next weekend. The Peninsula is a great place to enjoy the last days of summer!

We begin our week-long homeschool vacations on Sept. 17. If you’re a homeschool family (or a senior), check out our special school-year rates on our Homeschool Vacations page.

Email us or call 360-665-3525 for reservations. We now accept credit cards through PayPal.
