Planning a trip to the Long Beach Peninsula? Whether your goal is to stretch a limited family budget or to sample the best seafood the Peninsula has to offer, there’s a new resource in town that will help you do both. Two local moms have put together Peninsula Review, consisting of a Web site, a Facebook page and a Twitter account.
Whether it’s tweeting soups of the day from local restaurants, or giving in-depth reviews on the Web site, it’s up-to-date information that will help you plan your visit. The Web site is still in progress, but appears to list every available restaurant, along with other places that provide prepared food. It also gives helpful information for people traveling with kids and pets, shares local market and produce information, reveals free food events, covers church potlucks and more.
The Web site can be found at http://peninsulareview.com. If you want to follow them on twitter, search for “peninsulareview.” If you want to make a connection on Facebook, their page is “Peninsula Review.”
We have some great “hidden” restaurants here on the Peninsula. Now you can find them more easily!
Here at the Klipsan Beach Life Saving Station, we’re looking forward to a great new year. We expect 2011 to bring some positive changes to the Peninsula. Be sure to check out the new Web site http://peninsulareview.com, where local families share ways to find great food and smart bargains while vacationing here.
